I cannot get this device to connect.
The manual seems to be incorrect. It tells me to press the button 3x for discovery and then leave the lid off but when I do that absolutely nothing happens. When I put the lid on then the lights alternate between green, white, purple and yellow. SmartThings app in discovery mode, Aeotec smart hub light blinks green, trying to connect but the flood sensor does absolutely nothing after the initial light rotation.
I’ve also tried resetting the thing. The light again rotates from white, green, purple to green/yellow and beeps. I hit the button again once per the manual. Nothing happens. Place the lid on the device and then the lights start rotating again. Nothing happens, nothing discoverable.
The “troubleshooting” page comes up 404Error empty. I’ve followed the instructions down to the letter, I’ve alternated and placed the lid on (which seems to be the right way to go) but ultimately nothing is discoverable.
Of course the QR code does not work. No devices discoverable when my phone and hub scan for unknown devices.
Is my gadget broken?
