Excessive Polling of Z-Wave Devices

Good Morning,

I have been working on a home web service for logging of all my ST events to make them easily accessible via JSON. I have noticed that the 13 battery powered Aeon Gen5 Multi-sensors have been returning all of it’s sensors values (humidity, temp, lux, battery, roughly every 4-5 minutes since pairing with the V2 hub. And because of that it is chewing up the batteries in less than 30 days. It’s nice to have the data coming in more often but batteries get expensive and i really don’t want wires running down the wall for the usb chargers.

Am I the only one noticing this?

The aeon are very configurable with a custom device type.

I understand that, but why would this change so much with the new hub? I’m using the default device type

dunno, maybe they updated the device configuration parameters.
