Hi!
Some time ago (about a year) I bought a new Vodafone set with a camera, hub, siren, and contact sensor. I’m using these devices with the V2 hub, which still works great. Everything works except the hub. I couldn’t connect it to SmartThings due to error 36-302. It’s the ET-WV523 model (SmartThings WiFi/Hub). I abandoned it then, but I took the hub out of the drawer and would like to use it :). I found threads about this here, but I want to check if anything has changed since then. Then I read that the problem was outdated software.
What I did:
- Reset it several times.
- Put the hub into update mode (magenta LED) by holding the reset button.
- I contacted local (Polish) SmartThings support (they don’t know that you can connect anything more than an oven to SmartThings
)
- I contacted UK support (they recommended taking it to a store)
- I also created a thread on the Samsung Community: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/aplikacje-i-usługi/błąd-36-302-w-smartthings/td-p/11056697?src=ShareByUserCM
I don’t have another hub of this model and I don’t know anyone who does. Is it possible to manually update the hub? Can I add it to the app somehow?
I can share any information needed.
Thank you in advance for your help!
