For what it’s worth, I’ve long used the node-sonos-http-api for audio notifications over Sonos, as it allows greater control over the voices, volume, speaker selection, and more. It’s also easy to integrate notifications into routines and rules when paired with TAustin’s ST Edge Web Requestor .
