Edge Driver for ZRTSI or Tahoma SOMFY Control

Try removing it  it could with the integration still linked, the bond bridge tries to connect by it on the bond side after these power outages.

I did remove the link, but we don’t have any power outages, we have solar and Tesla Powerball, so there is never a power interruption. We’ll see how it works.

What I’ve discovered through trial/error, is if the Bond Bridge loses WiFi, it goes offline in the SmartThings app. I do not have the “Linked Services”, it is strictly using the Edge driver connection. Even when WiFi returns, the Bond Bridge will remain “offline” in SmartThings indefinitely until it is powercycled several times and at least one connected device is activated in the Bond Home app. Once that is done, the Bridge and connected devices will then show as online in SmartThings. For whatever reason the connection between Bond Bridge and SmartThings is just not “in sync” should something go awry. Nowhere near as stable as the old ZRTSI, which never caused a problem in over 4 years of daily use.

Hello @cw2387

I do not know much about Bond Bridge but this is a LAN device (WiFi) I think you should ensure that the IP address is fixed to ensure the stable connection.

I also have a ZRTSI, but I always use the Imnotbob DTH, so far it works well.

I understand that in your case you always used the Groovy DH ZWave Controller and Zwave Window Shade.
I wonder if you could use the new Edge Zwave Controller and Zw Window Shade driver to handle the ZRTSI in the same way ???

Thanks!

The DTH should not be working any longer. Mine was using the standard DTH and that stopped working. That is why I’ve been looking for an Edge driver. I’ve not tried the drivers you suggest, but maybe I’ll give it a try to see if they are detected and usable.
