I’m afraid you need something more sophisticated for solar panels. I use these plugs for basic things like coffeemaker, and lights.
the most advanced use I have is a wireless charger, wattage reports the current state of the charger - no phone, charging, charged
Yep, i tried to put it in the refridgerator and it reports just fine. Weird that a solar panel set makes it go crazy.
Thanks for creating it though and for the help!
@veonua do you have a driver the the Aqara Vibration sensor? I looked on this thread and unfortunately can’t find it. TIA
I have that same driver installed but it doesn’t pick it up. Am I doing it wrong? Hold the reset button until it flashes blue then keep pressing the reset button to keep the device awake until ST find it correct?
Hey @veonua I have these 2 H1 EU neutral models which doesn’t seem to be added yet:
- WS-EUK03 (lumi.switch.n1aeu1)
- WS-EUK04 (lumi.switch.n2aeu1)
I could help test/assist in some way if you require more information on these.
Appreciate your hard work! Thanks
WXKG07LM is already supported,
QBKG11LM will require logs from your side. please install CLI and pair the device
WS-EUK03 and WS-EUK04 are available in Xiaomi/Aqara Switch and Button v1.6
I’m trying to pair my cube with no luck at all. Does anyone have any ideas? MFKZQ01LM
Hi Everyone,
Fairly new to this edge driver stuff.
I have a couple of Aqara E1 Wireless switches. I can find them fine on smartthings but it just comes up as a zigbee thing and can’t do anything in the app to control it.
Has anyone had any luck getting them to work? It doesn’t give me any alternative options for a drivers.
The models i
are the Aqara WXKG16LM (single button) and WXKG17LM (dual button). @veonua if there isn’t one already available, any chance you could please make on for me?
Thanks in advance.
I’m also trying to pair, but could not get it done. Any updates on this? thanks
I’m currently out of home so can’t really check
But … I installed this drivers a month ago, but didn’t use, devices were still working on old DTH’s … until couple of days ago when my wife reported that outside lights don’t come up
… I can see in the ST app that both motion sensor and temp/humid sensors are offline, she tried to reset but that didn’t help.
If it stopped working due to transition to drivers, and I have these drivers installed, shouldn’t it just continue working with drivers?
Any similar experience or explanation?
Thanks!
The transition will happen only to official drivers, but not community issued, and I recommend to tests drivers before leaving home.
There were many changes during last weeks with the Zigbee protocol in the hub. So I believe there were no DTH transition yet.
Thanks, as soon as I get home in a day or two I will check it out
I see now that something happened with the routing … cause I made sure on pairing that it’s a direct connection … not working through routing
I’ve returned home and I tried re-adding the temperature/hmidity sensor, as a driver this time and I got it connected, presented as Aqara Weather. Temperature and humidity displayed in one tile, pressure in another, but battery was not displayed/read.
Next day (actually now) my sensor is disconnected in ST. I believe the reason is due to non-direct pairing, routed through another Zigbee device. It seems to be exactly the same problem and behaviour as with old DTH pairing. I solved this by disconnecting all my Zigbee devices (lots of pain) and paired all Aqara devices separately.
I can try the same with drivers! Did you experience similar behaviour/issues?
With driver use, I can’t see very much in IDE, only a placeholder. Do you know of any other way to check Route in case of driver pairing?
Thanks!
Several topics describe the experience like that with many replies.
Several experienced developers and ST representatives created Frequently Asked Questions topics on Edge driver.
There are many threads on Xiaomi and Aqara device behavior with years of experience and troubleshooting.
just wondering what else the community can do to encourage people to read the forum before posting. Even experienced people have been asking the same questions over and over for years.
You can give some advice or create another thread with more complicated questions and answers for future users.
My question was more aimed at issues when pairing Aqara device using driver. I know, and read of the issues when pairing with DTH … and it was allways routing issue.
I thought maybe it’ll be different with driver but I guess not, pairing still PITA
Thanks for sharing this info! I was already on channel 20, but I remember from before, even if I placed the sensor in vicinity of the hub, it would still route through some other Zigbee device, and the only working solution for me was the turn off the power from ALL the other Zigbee devices in my house.
