Device went into pairing mode as expected.
Smartthings never did detect this device even when placed inches away.
Anyone have success getting these connected?
Here’s a product link:
Aqara Smart Light Switch (No Neutral, Single Rocker), Requires AQARA HUB, Zigbee Switch, Remote Control and Set Timer for Home Automation, Compatible with Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZQWX1F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ENNB9FH3218E73T3VEEQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have the double rocker version working great so far, and I didn’t need to be close to the hub.
Try resetting the device (it’s either 5 taps or 10 taps on, I can’t remember) and do a Scan Nearby to find it. I believe it should be found as a Zigbee Switch.

Took me a while but I was able to install this wall switch with the help of this driver.
The Edge driver for Aqara Switches and Remotes started with an attempt to connect my own smart home.
I am not an Aqara representative and do not receive any payment for this work.
By posting the code Github , I hope to inspire others to join in and share their fixes and, support for newer devices. Your participation and contributions are welcome.
You can use the channel invitation link to test the current version
