EDGE_Child losses control

Hi All, i just realised that i have loss connectivity on my switch which on the two/three gang switches. First switch works fine, its the second and third switch that is non responsive. Upon checking, its been mark as EDGE_CHILD. I have enrol and install driver from mariano, but to no avail.

I read that i need to delete the codes in IDE, however, when i went to IDE site, im being redirected to smartthings, any idea how do i go about? Thank you.

Hi @Khairul_Osman

Edge child created with one specific driver will not work when you change to another driver.

If you have my driver installed, then with the App delete all the Child devices that you have created.

On the device app, select Settings (preferences), menu three dots top right in the app details view and create the child devices again.

The new child devices will appears in the room were the hub is

From where exacly do i find this settings? i did click on the three dots on the top right, but could not find such options.

Im using urs. I toggle between Zigbee Thing MC

Your device does not in my driver.

I added your device in this driver version

  • Delete your device and all child devices with App
  • Delete old version of Zigbee Multi Switch and Child Mc if is installed in your hub
  • Install in your Hub this new version of the driver Zigbee Multi Switch and Child Mc from my channel
  • Set the device in pairing mode and add new device with app search nearby option.
  • When device appears in app and works, then you can create the child device for switch2 component from settings preferences

Hi Mariano, for the 3 and 4 gang there are showing these log when i change driver. I have uninstall and re install the driver to the hub but still having this issue. Appreciate your kind help. Thank you.

Your hub.

It probably will work automagically with the driver “Default clusters”

Yes ive already installed the updated driver, but am not able to choose “Zigbee Multi Switch and Child MC” for the 3&4 gang switch.
