Ecolink Chime+Siren problems

I purchased a Ecolink Chime+Siren model ISZW7-ECO. I cannot get any sound to play from SmarthThings Version 1.7.02.16. I am trying to have it chime when a magnetic door sensor is triggered. all the topics I find are prior to Groovy ending. the driver seems to load ok. there are options for which sound, siren or chime, ect, ect. any help would be greatly appriciated. I am a NEWBIE and know just enough to get myself into trouble
