Driver for Linkind Open/Close Sensor (Zigbee)

I have several of these sensors ZB-DoorSensor-D0003. Prior to the IDE change I could simply add them to SmartThings, then change the device type from Zigbee Thing to Zigbee Contact and they worked great.

Now with the new IDE I am prohibited from changing the device type to Zigbee Contact. I get an error when I try.
SmartThings support has not been helpful…they sent me here.

Does anyone have a driver for this product or some way I can override the device type?

Try this discussion , on the bottom you will see an Edge Driver channel invitation for “Mariano Shared Beta Driver”.

On the channel, the driver that will be most helpful to you is “Zigbee Contact Mc”
