Door unlocked by itself, AND security app uninstalled itself?

Not sure what’s going on here, but at 1:19 this morning, while I’m sitting in my bedroom, I get a notice that the door is unlocked. I immediately get up and go to look. It WAS unlocked. I locked it back manually.
I go and check the activity, and it says that at the same time (1:19)Enhanced auto lock door sent the unlock command. then it shows the sensor seeing me go to the door, and then motion stopped when I went back to the bedroom. At 1:22 it says Security : Security app uninstalled. ??
I have no idea what happened here. Anyone else have this experience?

I thought I had read on here somewhere, awhile back, something about installing certain security apps from the marketplace vs in the device’s page. Not sure if that may have something to do with it.
At any rate, I’ve removed my lock from ST for now, I can not have the door unlocking randomly with ladies home, in case I’m not home.
Any input or anything I need to look at, let me know. I would like to get this resolved, and it’s currently not needed to have the doorlock on ST anyway.
The FE599 auto locks itself after a few seconds, and everything needing to know about the door is triggered from the door sensor, not the door itself.

If you do a search on here you will find it has happened before to some people. I haven’t read a post recently about it though.

Your best bet is to contact support as there are some things they can see from their side that are not available to us as regular customers.

That said, I am one of those who reported a similar problem, although it was sometime ago. My lock just kept on unlocking on its own. I worked with support on it for about a month but we couldn’t find any resolution. I ended up removing the lock from SmartThings and putting it on a different (local) controller and have had no problems with it since.

If you check the forums, you will see occasional reports of lights coming on randomly or garage doors opening. They aren’t common, but they can happen, and as a cloud-based system there are a number of different possible causes which can be hard to track down. :disappointed_relieved:

I think I will. Meanwhile, I saw a setting in the enhanced door security app, where it asks for how long to leave the door locked? I can’t leave that field blank either. I can’t see it now as I removed the lock, but I always wondered why that was there.

Looks like a problem with the enhanced auto lock smart app. You should ask in that thread and see if anyone has any idea what may have happened.
