Unable to pair Dome Siren with SmartThings, anyone sucessful with doing this. Tried “Search Nearby” as well as thru Dome Siren selection on Partner Devices. Please advise, Any help would be appreciated…
That’s a Z wave device, right? Was it previously connected to any other Z wave controller? If so, you will need to do a “exclude” on it clear out the old network’s information before you can add it to a new one.
Also, what smartthings hub do you have? And what country are you in?

It is a Z wave plus device
It may be it was (perhaps accidentally) left on a test or other network prior to you obtaining it. An “exclude” or a Factory Reset will bring you back to the “unclaimed device” state necessary for inclusion in any Z-Wave network. Worth trying!

According to the instructions found on the Z-Wave Alliance for Dome Z-Wave Plus Siren (model DMS01), the “Connect Button” (inside the back cover) should be pressed quickly 3 times for both inclusion (pairing) and exclusion. A 10-second hold can be used for a factory reset.
