Thanks for posting. Seems like a ‘good enough’ price on these (i.e. not as good as those crazy $9 deal some people have been getting over the past so many months, but since those kinds of deals are as rare as unicorns in my neck of the woods, this is indeed a good deal if they are what yer lookin for).
Sorry to always forget, but for anybody that has any of these, or just knows…do these ones need neutral?

Yes, they require a neutral.
be careful buying open packages, people have been scammed by purple putting cheap dumb switches in the packs.
Oh ya, thanks for the reminder. I do recall people talking about that happening too. So, I suppose it might be a good idea to stick with local, in-person purchases when it comes to some of these types of deals, eh?

I’d be really careful on your one. No returns allowed, open box, known returns… Personally, if piss on it, unless they sent Mr s time/date tagged photo of the back of each one marked separately with a sharper and including a printout of an email from me.
The one time I got ripped off by a eBay seller whom I paid $280 with PayPal for something that was “soon” to be delivered. I had to make a claim and wait over 4 very long weeks for PayPal to refund my money. The seller kept making excuses for why it was delayed again. They never refunded me and eventually PayPal reimbursed me. It seemed like forever and I didn’t lose anything (I did in fact gain some grey hairs).
Well ??? , I just got shipping notification for 2 of my 5 missing Lightify A19 bulbs from Lowes. Strange thing is shipping notice shows 1 at $8.99 and 1 at $9.99 . Giving me $1 off 1 of them for waiting 3 weeks ? I used a 10% off the whole order, so why only take $1 off one of them ? How many orders/shipments will it take to actually get my 5 bulbs and 1 starter kit ?
Still no word on the 2 Gardenspot kits though.
This experience has pretty much soured my taste on ever dealing with Lowes.com and shipping ever again,
I found that in their email shipping notice they try to split the coupon discount proportionally by price over all the items in your order, and it results in odd prices. I’d ignore it and instead go to “Your Account => Purchases” on their website to see the actual prices you paid with the coupon at the bottom.
Although they list the ‘free shipping’ oddly: there’s two -$5.99 adjustments when really only 1 takes place (ignore the ‘adjustments’ line).
Adjustments: $-5.99
Parcel Shipping: $5.99
Get $10 Off Your $50 Purchase:-$10.00
Free Shipping $49 and above: -$5.99
You know they are a wonky company simply by the highly variable pricing they have the one same goods in different stores.

I just tried to add these and parcel shipping is an option on the item page but when you get to the cart, it says it is not available
[/quote]I’d suggest trying a different browser or something. I ordered 6 just before I posted. I was just able to go back now and add up to 19 for parcel shipping (no matter what store I pick). (If I added over 19 it would drop back to 19).
Just got my sengled bulb, works with the GE Link bulb type for on/off dimming. Anyone know an existing device type that will work with it’s power monitoring ability?
Edit: So support has a doc on this, but it doesn’t help. The light was only detected as a generic thing. ZigBee Dimmer and with Power both worked but the latter doesn’t show power. Still hunting.
I just got my Element Touch, too. It was recognized as a “Zigbee Dimmer Power”. This device type does show the current power usage in the “recently” log. I don’t see the power display on the device tile on my Android phone. Looking at the source, it appears that the power display is a secondary control on a multiAttributeTile, and I suspect that doesn’t show up under Android (as multiAttributeTile is only partially supported on Android).
“Hey, Joe…here’s some cash…would you please go buy one of my bulbs and give a 5-star review? I got these things for a steal from HD when they were on sale at Sears, and I want to see how many hits I get on the forums…”
lol
Again, just kidding…always looking for humor these days (RE: the MELT-DOWN currently underway at SmartThings)…even where it’s not really there in the first place. )
@jlv
I have a Rheem water heater and their WiFi module.
My understanding (which may be about to change) is that it’s only the WiFi module that is powered by the electrical connection, and if it, for whatever reason, loses power, the water heater itself (which worked just fine without electricity before I installed the WiFi module) will still keep working.
Am I wrong?
I really want to know. So, I guess I better double-check to make sure I’m not remembering things incorrectly…
Just installed mine, too. I believe if the power usage is supposed to be shown in the multi tile, then it has fallen victim to the current multi tile bug where text is either shown very tiny or not at all.
Just when I had lost hope a shipping notice arrived. 20 days from order is not too bad. Gives me hope the 2 main kits w. controller might just get here too.

2 more of my A19 bulbs arrived yesterday and I got shipping ( from Lowe’s not UPS or Fedex) of the last 2 A19 bulbs.
My 2 Gardenspots are still MIA, so the 3 Gardenspot extensions are still sitting in the sealed shipping box. They are completely useless to me without the base units. I probably should at least open the box and make sure they are actually in there, could be an empty box for all I know.
It still amazes me, I ordered 5 A19 bulbs at $9 each and Lowe’s divides those 5 bulbs out over 3 shipments.
