Device profile creation error

Hi,

I just started using SmartThings and am trying to directly connect an esp32 to the SmartThings app and cloud. I have not created any previous device profiles and just ran into this error. Tried multiple different names since that seemed to have been a problem in the past but without any luck.

Thanks for reaching out, we’re checking if this is a general issue. We’ll let you know more once we get more info.

In the meantime, could you let us know if you made some changes to your SmartThings account recently like deleted/re-created, or changed the email?

This problem occurs because you are trying to create a device profile with a capability that doesn’t have a presentation.

It was a silly fault from my part where I “added a component” instead of a capability in the device profile creation.
