Hi, i have a samsung smarthings hub v3 and have absolutley no lock connecting anything. Whatever device i click on too add it says device not compatible. I have reset the hub twice. Currently trying to connect the Aeotec door sensor 7 pro and the multi sensor 6. Help please samsung support were not helpful.
Login here, select your hub, post screenshots from the Z-Wave section and the firmware version of your hub.
Just reset it again and tryinf to reconnect and its getting stuck on the update bit, the light on the hub now stays solid blue and it hasnt done anything, have tried resetting 3 times no luck.
Its at 90% now so will try again once its connected and send screenshots of all the z wave stuff ect, edit now it is stuck on 99%
I see you have a hub made for the New Zealand market. Can we assume that the Z-Wave devices you are installing are also for the same region?
I am in australia, i bought the hub off an australian website. Also the hub is not comnected to the SmartThings app, but the light on the hub is solid blue.
Yeah, I should have said Australia and New Zealand. What I was really trying to check was that the devices you are adding are also for Australia and not incompatible Z-Wave devices made for other markets. The error messages from the SmartThings app tend to be rather vague and unhelpful but on rare occasions they do mean what they say.
I started writing before you reset the hub and it got stuck on blue which is a more immediate problem.
I bought them from an Australian website so I hope so, any device I try to add in the app even ones certified to Australia say not compatible. Not that I have those devices but yeah every device I click on too see says not compatible.
This was clicking on the sensor 6
I have reset the hub a few times and tried wifi and ethernet. Still gets stuck on blue hey.
Would it be worth just buying the aeotec hub and trying that?
