[DEPRECATED] EchoSistant Version 3.16 with Alexa Feelings

Two things, could you please do me a favor and hit the ST app to initialize all settings. And then, could you please send a test message in order to repeat it…or else it will say that you have null messages to repeat…

you have to send a message before you can repeat a message.

This version of EchoSistant is no longer supported.

Please see the following thread for the latest Version and Information.

Thank you all for your support.

Hi Andrew… I am getting the exact same Lambda error message as you (also in UK using ireland region)… How did you fix it?! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are several folks from UK that solved the problem. And several discussions related to API path on the v4 thread. Please join us there.

Bobby / Jason …

I would like to kindly request (plead) that you have the original Echosistant available for those who LOVED the INTERCOM function (only) of the app, and the literal slots (seeing as Amazon has yielded to developers). Just the very simple straight forward version for those who want to silo or run as a separate functioning app.
OF course I deleted the OLD code and now have no access to it and am running into problems and want to work with the new 4.0 but also want to maintain that very simple original vision !
Thank you for your consideration !

If you give v4 a chance, you will LOVE it more than any other versions

I would like to parallel process it … this is turning into a VERY complex app - and not a quick set up of a intercom, which was the original vision.

I AM and will be using 4.0 but there are some users who do not want something this complicated to start with - but would LOVE and WANT the original … Echosistant mini.

NOT all users are 404 users, some are just starting and some want simple things. Nothing wrong with simple. KISS is OK IMHO !

Absolutely. I understand your concern. The process of installing and getting up and running is the same. But I hear your point that the more features your add, the more chances you have to run into a bug. Again, Jason and I are here to help! We want RELIABILITY first before FEATURES overload

Actually, the install is identical to the very first version. The voice messaging is the main purpose of the app.

The basic install allows for that purpose, plus much more.

All of the skills still have to be set up as well as each profile.

I’m not seeing how it would be beneficial to maintain two versions of the same app.

Also, the messaging is much more accurate and reliable in version 4.

@Bobby - Can you please help me with the steps to achieve this and sample code I can use? I have tried this before but couldn’t get it working.
