Yup that was it. I had them before they were official. Going to have to poke around and see what other devices may have in the same situation,
And this is again another reason why I’m surprised so many people want a migration tool, start fresh people! Aside from the backend ST issues, my hub is otherwise rock solid, I still firmly believe this is because I started completely fresh and I keep my custom SmartApps and DTH to a minimum.
Can the ST dev team comment about whether this is on the roadmap? I have a number of these Cree bulbs, and I’d like for them to be eligible for local control. Any chance we’ll see it soon?
they usually do not comment on roadmaps.
Last rumor is " stop on local processing" until platform issues are solved.
I just migrated to hub 2.0 over the weekend and wiped out all of my custom device handlers. Pretty bummed out to see that my Cree bulbs and even my thermostat (CT-100) isn’t running local.
I just purchased and installed a CREE Connected soft white LED 60w bulb. The packaging indicates that it is compatible with Wink and ZigBee. My SmartThings hub easily recognized it and installed it as a CREE Bulb, which is a CLOUD implementation. I switched the device to “ZigBee Dimmer Power” through the IDE and the bulb performs LOCAL flawlessly.
SmartThings Hub v2
Firmware Version: 000.021.00013
ZigBee Version 2.6.2
FYI the native Cree bulb handler now runs locally on V2 and V3 hubs.
