Creating Virtual Devices - Published vs Self-Published?

This is probably a really dumb question, but will there be a difference between choosing “self-published” versus “published” when I’m creating a new device… in particular, a Momentary Button Tile or Simulated Switch to use with Hue bulbs?

Self-published would be a DH that you have code for in your account. It could be different or it could be exactly the same depending on what you have written/copied.

Published are ones that we have written and maintain.
