I have a Core routine that turns on my bedroom lights with motion during certain times of the day. It’s supposed to not work from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Last night my wife got up and the lights came on at about 1 AM. This morning the lights are still coming on with motion even though it should stop 1/2 hr after sunrise. It’s now 9 AM and the lights are still coming on. I haven’t changed anything in Core. The only thing I did was install a new Harmony hub but I didn’t even connect that to ST.
A picture of said piston would help us help you. As it stands right now, you’re basically asking: “I have a red car and it’s not starting, anyone has the same problem?”
I was just checking to see if anyone else was having strange issues, that’s why I didn’t post the piston.
Anyway, I figured out the problem - I had it set to run if motion was detected between 6:30 am and 1/2 hour after sunrise. That worked well in the winter, but now sunrise is 5:50 so a half hour after that is 6:20. So it didn’t start until after the half hour past, which basically meant it would fire all day, which is what it was doing. I got rid of that part of the piston and now it’s good.
