the New App needs to have a Refresh Tab like the Classic App
I notice occasionally a doorlock or switch is OffLine. In the Classic App I press the Refresh tab to get the current status
The New App doesn’t have that feature.

Have you tried swiping the screen down to refresh the page?

I just tried what you suggested
It Does Not update the device status the same way the Classic App does

I see the same behavior w/ the IOS app here. Swiping down on a device screen has a spinning wheel like the page is refreshing, but doesn’t actually do a ‘Refresh’ command to the device. I self-migrated months ago to the new app, and this is about the only reason I return to the old - refresh devices. When I see the weather in the old app, it also reminds me how much info is lacking in the new app for SmartWeather. Still no temp on the main weather tile - just humidity… Hopefully we will be able to refresh devices in the new app before the old is decommissioned.
