I updated the password on my Ring Doorbell account and now the SmartThings app on my phone tells me Ring is disconnected from SmartThings.
Can anyone tell me how to update my Ring password in the SmartThing app?

Either go through the Ring SmartApp setup again, or remove it from your SmartApps and add it back again. That will prompt for the login credentials again.
Just figured this one out. Don’t disconnect your existing doorbell. Instead go into the SmartThings app and act like you are adding a new doorbell. When you get to the screen to add your ring, the SmartThings app will say something about your authentication for your existing doorbell has changed, and you can update everything from there.
