Centralite 4256050-ZHAC,4256050-RZHAC Power Working

Hi

I have some Centralite Smart Plugs, but some does not show power consumption, The documentation reveals it have power monitor, but no device handler can get the correct data.

The common error was

Read attr: read attr - raw: D615010B04060B0586, dni: D615, endpoint: 01, cluster: 0B04, size: 06, attrId: 050b, result: unsupported attr

My device have Firmware Current Version: 0x100345A8

application: 02
endpointId: 01
manufacturer: CentraLite Systems
model: 4256050-RZHAC
Raw Description 01 0104 0100 00 05 0000 0003 0004 0005 0006 01 0019

it does not show cluster power 0B04

After get other Centralite Device The power monitor works fine but data its different

New Centralite device working Current Version: 0x110246C5

application: 15
endpointId: 01
manufacturer: CentraLite
model: 4256050-RZHAC
Raw Description 01 0104 0100 00 07 0000 0003 0004 0005 0006 0B04 0B05 01 0019

it has cluster power 0B04

SmartThings has eneabled Over the Air (OTA) firmware updates, I have enabled (because its disabled by default) and surprisingly the device was updated

now my device its Current Version: 0x16015010

Power its working, the raw description has not updated, but works fine, if you uninstall and install the device, the raw description is updated , but its not necessary to working fine.

The device handler I use its ZigBee Switch Power, its original from SmartThings, it update the power with every change

If you have a centralite device with no working power monitor, try to eneble OTA updates

great! I wonder if Zigbee OTA updates are only via hub-v2 ? What is the path or method to this setting?

I have hub-v1 active but v2 stays in the box for now.

I have ST Hub V2, I have disconected V1 and the IDE does not show OTA utilities, but maybe an update has not been loaded to my V1, because its disconected from power.

The instructions are in :

Thanks, I did not see the announcement - “Samsung SmartThings Hub (v2) supports ZigBee OTA firmware updates” so looks like hub v1 is de facto obsoleto .

Not related to your models but I have a couple of Centralite
model: 4257050-RZHAC
Current Version: 0x12005010
Target Version: 0x16015010
Last Updated: N/A
Last Checked: 2017-09-07 3:08 PM PDT - Check Now
Power consumption is working fine and OTA enable but no update. Weird.

I think the Model 4257050 just change the body, because the last firmware its the same than 4256050-RZHAC = 0x16015010, your device have firmware 0x12005010 and mine since 0x110246C5 its working the power monitor, but mine with 0x110246C5 does not update power changes until refresh, the new one updates instantly.

one unit updates in 20 min, other unit takes several hours, the fast unit was off, the other unit was on, after check the firmware was not updated in second unit, I turned off the unit and went to sleep, in the next morning the unit was updated, I don´t know if the unit on was the reason to not update o take more time. just check

Does anyone know if the Centralite Smart Outlet Mini Model 3200-C-P is supported with a handler, and if it reports power draw like the other Centralite outlets?

can’t find that part# anywhere, assuming you mean

just a guess, judging by the size ratio and known feature list, I don’t think it has the guts to measure power or current. Command and status only.

You are right. I decided to chance it, got one, and used the handler that otherwise gave me power (I had to add that device model number to the handler). After that, it did not give me a power reading, so back it goes to Amazon.
