Can't get multi purpose sensor to be temperature sensor

Hi just wondering how to make the smartthings multipurpose sensor come up as a temperature sensor on Alexa app? When I try create a routine my only options are if it’s opened or closed not what temperature it is…

It’s not just you, I noticed the same problem. I have 28 multi-purpose sensors and none of them will allow me to access the thermometer triggers in Alexa but I can in ST. You can’t trigger Alexa routines on the ST leak sensors either.

I had to use a super convoluted process (that I found on here) of virtual switches to make it work.
