Can't choose "Color Coordinator" smartApp in IDE

I go to Create New SmartApp and choose From Template.

Select ANY in the list except “Color Coordinator” or “Curb Alert” and the template changes. Select either of those and no change.

Logged out, quit Safari, went back in, no change.

I see this is an ongoing problem:

Not only is it a known issue, but support keeps closing my tickets on it as “Solved” even though they know that nothing has been done about it. Here’s the most recent communications from ST, received today: [quote]This looks like a known issue and other customers are experiencing problems with it. We are aware of the bug and are working on a resolution, but at this time there isn’t a definite timeline for when we can have a fix in place. I’ll be keeping an eye on this issue and we’ll let you know when we expect to see it resolved. Thanks so much for working with us. [/quote] At least this one didn’t get closed… yet.

Can’t use the suggested workaround in that thread because there doesn’t seem to be a “color coordinator” smart app in the github repo!

Ah thanks. I think I I was in the “official” repo, not the community one.
