Can't add the hub in Classic

I just got my Ver 3 hub yesterday. Set up with no problems in the the new app. I had installed both the new and the classic app for comparison before I got the hub delivered. The classic app isn’t seeing the hub and I can’t add it. I really need classic as I have a bunch of devices that use SmartLife. Both apps are using the same Samsung account. I’ve tried clearing classic app data and cache, uninstalling, reinstalling, still no hub in Classic. I am at a loss at this point! As a new user, I don’t understand why there is different apps that have different functionality! I had high hopes for this but if I can’t use virtual switches it’s pretty useless! And ideas? Check to see if you have two locations in IDE. If you do, you can remove the empty location. Or you can change locations to the one that contains your hub in the Classic app.
