Added via app. If I connect on normal browser via ip, it shows video fine. The app refuses to show a picture/steam. Any ideas? I readded multiple times.
I have a similar problem with a dlink i added. pretty useless
I’m seeing same issue on d-link camera, shows ACTIVE, and then i click the play button but getting error: there was a problem retrieving the livestream url.
I’ve removed and re-added the camera a few times and force closed the smartthings app. No luck.
Camera is the DCS-5222L
I put in a ticket but you know how that goes…
Added it to tinycam Android app with no issues. Y u do dis smartthings.
Get the same thing, but with a D-Link DSC-2330L.
Must be ST’s way of pushing everyone towards the Samsung camera…
I was hoping that hub update today would fix it. Nope.

So does ANYONE’s D-Link camera work? I’m pulling my hair out trying to get a work-around. Is there any logging I can find? All I know is it shows as Active/Connected but refuses to show a picture / stream.
Found some log entries for D-Link connect app. Anyone from SmartThings staff have any insight to what’s going on? I’ll be contacting support tomorrow:

Update: Mine just started working as of 6PM CST today! Didn’t do anything to initiate it.
I’m also struggling to get my 5222l to connect through the D-Link connect via connect new device, tried factory reset on the camera with no success and messing around with the IP address. The logs shows the hub is trying to connect to my sonos’s.

What hardware revision of the 5222L do you have? Currently Rev A is not supported.
I have D-Link 5222l Rev A
Spoke too soon as dlink camera is down again. 
Works fine everywhere else except smart things. Hopefully they can figure out the issue with the cameras they say are supported.
Any news? One of my two Dlink cams is doing this. Worked for a while…but as of this AM…nothing. The other works on Mydlink lite…and ST App. Ticket submitted…
They are extremely hit or miss. I added a second one to the mix and it’s the same issues.
I was going to brag my 2310L was working perfectly from when I installed it last night. When I tried this morning, it hung on connecting. I pushed the reboot button and it fixed the problem. I hope I don’t have to do that every day.
Any updates on the Rev A version of the 5222L being supported???
