Can’t find my wifi network while trying to connect to my new device - AC

Hi all,

I am owner of the AR12RXWXCWKN Air conditioner, and can’t connect this device to my 2.4 GHz network while using the SmartThings app, and setting up new device. The network basically can’t be found by app. Network is clearly visible and fully functional for other devices.
I would appreciate any suggestions how to solve this.

By any chance, do you have the 5Ghz network by the same name meanwhile?

You should disable the 5Ghz network, and make sure that your phone is connected to the 2.4Ghz network during the process.

Unfortunately some devices are sensing differently the wifi strength than others.

I struggled for a half day recently to get my Washer connected to my wifi network.

Otherwise what Wifi channel are you using, that could be an issue as well.

LIFX bulbs were/used to not pairing to anything above channel 11 as I can recall.
