*BUG* iOS setting descriptions do not show for integer type

This was reported back in Sept 2025 in a private forums section. All the logs and whatnot was supplied back then. Still has not been fixed and I have had zero feedback.

Maybe it will get traction if I post in public?

  • Sept 2025: Originally reported on iOS app version 1.7.37.217
  • Dec 2025: Reported again on iOS 1.7.41 (209) - Also confirmed it works correctly on Android v1.8.37.23
  • Jan 2026: Reported again on iOS 1.7.41 (212)
  • Today: Still not working on iOS 1.7.41.12

On devices I am noticing that the descriptions are not displaying for “integer” type settings as defined in the profile preference section. “enumeration” type settings are not impacted. These were working fine last week [major version prior to 1.7.37]. This is for custom Edge drivers for Z-wave devices. I have checked the one I am working on right now, as well as an older one which has not been modified for a while.

We shared this with our team, and we found the ticket created by Alissa, who’s in charge of that private thread.
The corresponding team commented on the ticket to try to get an update regarding this issue.
So, just so you’re aware. This was properly reported; the issue is that there hasn’t been an update from the engineering team in charge of this issue, we all will be monitoring for any feedback there.
