Are you grabbing this data from bloomsky.com and if so could you point me to where it is? my graphs don’t show illuminance.

No, I’m pulling it from Tim’s DTH.

Are we sure the illuminance value in the API isn’t giving us some sort of counter instead of illuminance data?

Would you mind sharing how you’re pulling it from the DTH? I’m sure you’re not doing it manually!

The DTH provides the “Illuminance Measurement” capability. You can subscribe to it or access it via a SmartApp just like you would subscribe to temperature, humidity, etc.

So, I’ve done this…how long did it take for your station’s values to show up on WU?

hmmmm, something seems wrong, then. Reporting -9999 degrees for me, but I just checked the page where you register your Bloomsky with WU, and everything looks good there.

Yea mine counts up resets and counts up gain. It reset at 8am ish this morning again after climbing all night. And is again climbing

Interesting thing is it looks like my WU Tied Weather is tracking ok. It went to zero overnight and woke up this morning and isn’t tracking in small predictable increments.

Does that translate as “you can code it yourself in groovy”?

I’m unfamiliar with the idea of subscribing to a value generated from a DTH.

The Wunderground integration is flaky, especially when adding the webcam portion. I had to go into the My PWS section of Wunderground a few times and change a value and re-save to get it to work.
Now it works great and the webcam works too. I just know not to touch anything because it’s temperamental.

I got an acceptance email from Bloomsky on Thursday, 2/11, ordered the same day and got a shipping confirmation on Friday 2/12 with a UPS tracking number. Today, that tracking number still tracks as “Order processed”, so UPS hasn’t received the order yet.

Has anybody else with similar time lines had their unit shipped yet?

I was just about to post the same this. I got my tracking number on 2/12 as well, but still says it is being processed.

I was approved last week but never even got tracking info yet.
Guessing they are approving and also shipping in batches.

Just hang in there … my shipping confirmation said “label made” for about five or six days before it arrived on my doorstep.

If you want a graph of the data that the BloomSky API reports as “illuminance”, sure. I’m guessing they don’t provide a graph for it because it’s not providing correct data.

This is my exact same situation. Accepted on 11th, sent tracking info on 12th - still shows “Ready for pick up”

Ah, I see. I’ll let things settle a bit and then tinker this afternoon…

I’ve got my tracking number on Friday, but then it got stuck:

@schapper05 did you get your indoor station? get it to work? I have been fighting mine. It keeps giving me the symbol for cant connect to server. I know it is on my network as I can see it getting an IP via DHCP.
