Better Accuracy of Multi Temp Sensor

Both of my multi’s are currently attached to vinyl windows. Cold vinyl windows. As a result the reported temps are generally accurate for placement, but way off for general area. It will report a temp of 60F on my daughter’s room window when the ambient room temp is 68F.

Any ideas as to how I can increase the accuracy of the reading? I’m thinking about separating the multi/ vinyl surfaces with an anti-conductive surface but not quite sure what to use. Maybe a cork-board type finish. I think you can get something similar with an adhesive backing.

Anyways. Just wondering if others have similar results with the sensors. Thanks.

@Dawg…, Long known Issue, fix said to be coming to “calibrate” but now ?

Yeah, as I’ve read recently. Thanks for your response.
