AR Camera not Available S24 Ultra

Hey guys, I’m just dropping by to add my 2c here:

I’m currently experiencing this issue on my new s25 ultra. I’m coming from a s23 ultra where this wasn’t an issue. However, some time ago I bought a s23 ultra (same as mine) and it had this issue. At first, I reset the device and the issue was fixed. But it came back a few days later. After some digging around, I found out that this functionality uses an app called “AR Zone”. This basically operates all the AR $h!t for the phone (AR emoji, AR doodle, etc.). I removed the app and reinstalled it and that seemed to fix the issue.

Now, the fun part: on OneUI 7, this app is integrated into the OS and is part of the Settings menu. I’m unable to reset/delete whatever functionality it has, so I’m kind of stuck.

It seems to work for me but ive noticed something. If you try looking with samsung find it will show a compass like finding. But if you search with smartthings it will use the camera. Also it does take a min to get it connected.

Because its not supported on the s24 and 25 lineup.

yeah which is fkn ridiculious, really. I am on notes/ultras series since like note 8, because i expect stuff to work. Having uwb phone and then just shitting on it with your sw… 2nd straight year… very poor attitude.
