Smart Tag 2 - Stopped Broadcasting

I have a Galaxy S24 Ultra, my Galaxy S23 Ultra couldnt find my smart tag 2 and the tag has not shown up on anyone’s phone.

There is no history of the tag. It randomly would beep at me for no reason throughout the day, then the time I leave my keys somewhere… I lose it.

Now it doesn’t show up on smartthings and cannot be found by my phone or anyone else’s. It’s been two months. The battery was perfect when it was lost.

Anyone have any advice on what I should do? I have had nothing but problems with my smart tag 2s…

I think I know the solution. When I first set up my SmartTag 2, it also beeped a lot in my pocket. It was weird, but after Googling, it seems that when I installed it, the battery somehow got dislodged. So every time I walked, it would make a connection and do the beep to start up but then get disconnected. I had to just reopen it and realign the battery and put it back in with a bit of force. After that, I haven’t had any issues.
