I was talking about the logs generated when following your steps (dump hub logs).
Sounds like you can access them? Or do I need to email them to the build email address?
Also, I noticed my query was directed to this TV Hub and Mesh Network thread. While I do have a mesh network at home (Eero home network), I do not have a TV hub. I have a standalone hub connected to my Eero router. Does this change anything?
Thanks for your help with this - really appreciate it!
Ah ok, thereâs no need for you to do something else if you submitted the logs.
Yes, thatâs the name I assigned because you all have the same issue but the conditions are either in a TV Hub or a Mesh network (in your case) donât worry about that itâs only to have a reference on what is being discussed here.
Hi, @tryintoautomate, @DesertStorm
The engineering team mentioned the new version of the driver was released yesterday but it can take 12-24 hours to propagate. You can see in the Driverâs details the Version, it should start with Yesterdayâs date: 2024-10-22.
Hubâs details > Menu (Three-dot symbol in the upper-right corner) > Driver > Aqara Presence Sensor
If you already have this version, please try to reinstall the device
(Steps 2, 3, 4 shouldnât be necessary, but who knowsâŚ
If you have any other beta or testing FP2 drivers installed, you have to delete them first.)
Description of the Change
The mDNS service name of the actual Aqara FP2 is â_Aqara-FP2. _tcp".
if the search parameter is â_Aqara-FP2. _tcpâ, the driver is executed in V3 and SmartThings Station, but not in the hub on the monitor.
if the search parameter is â_aqara-fp2. _tcpâ, the driver is executed in the hub on the monitor, but not in V3 and SmartThings Station.
if the search parameter contains both â_Aqara-FP2. _tcpâ and â_Aqara-fp2. _tcpâ, the driver runs well in both v3, station, and hub on the monitor.
I can confirm that all I did was install the driver on the hub then added it using the normal add accessory process. I did not have to remove/reset etc. the device to have it successfully enrolled into ST.
I guess this is no longer related to smarthub issue on TVâs , but it seems information from Aqara FP2 on https://my.smartthings.com/ and using smartthings app is different - which means its not exposed to home assistant.
In smartthings app I can see not only general presence, but also presence by zones (as you know aqara FP2 can do that), but in https://my.smartthings.com/ only general presence is seen.
