Apple invests more in AI

So Samsung recently bought the company now run by the group that created the original Siri. Their product is called Viv. It’s not available in any commercial products, but Samsung has said it will appear in a phone in 2017.

Now Apple has countered by starting their own internal AI research division.

Google assistant has been said to already have this ability. We shall see once the pixel phones get released as it’s baked into the os.
