Thank you for the info. I was just curious as I am using an HD 8 for actiontiles and was curious if I go with a show or another tablet for a night stand piece

The Lenovo with Show mode tablets will work with Action Tiles since they are actual Android tablet.

Amazon reviews say the following phone can be used for Wi-Fi only without activating it. So it should be good for ActionTiles. Prime day price is $19.99 , 50% off list. :sunglasses:

This isn’t the exact same model, but it shows how people use a Wi-Fi only phone with SmartThings:

The eero doesn’t work for me because I need to be able to specify 2.4 gigahertz versus 5.0 for some devices, and the eero always picks for you . But otherwise I think it’s a good system. Excellent price for prime day, 50% off.

The price on the SmartThings/ADT dual logo motion sensor has plummeted in the last week and is now under $11 with most third-party “fulfilled by Amazon“ sellers. Remember that you must have the ADT model of the smartthings hub, these will not work with the other models. But I know there were some people who wanted a few more, so I would grab them quick while you can get them with the Amazon guarantee. According to ADT support, these are EOL and are no longer being manufactured.

Sugru on sale! ( I love this stuff.)

If you want the more traditional black and white, it will be $19 and then the four dollar off discount, so $15 for eight.

Some of the colors of the “family friendly“ formula are a little bit less expensive, but in my experience the original formula is much stronger after it dries.

I have been using this for a while now and its been working great - 24% off

Ah, bummer, missed out on the ThirdReality switches. I swear last night it said 30 hours left on the sale, but today it’s 30. I was trying to think of good uses and didn’t until last night while falling asleep. Oh well.

Here is an odd item!

Amazon.com Inc has a promotion for U.S. shoppers on Prime Day, the 48-hour marketing blitz that started Monday: Earn $10 of credit if you let Amazon track the websites you visit.

@JDRoberts, first off, I truly appreciate you keeping me in mind for sales for my project needs! Thank you so much. However I have filled the gap with the Ebay purchase of the 10 Iris 2nd Generation motion sensors. I have 6 positions left that need sensors, but they are planned for the Zooz 4 in 1 sensors to tie into WebCore pistorns to control my ceiling fans.

I did take advantage of the sales though and picked up the remaining Echo Dots. They had sale on top of sale, and got the price down to 3 3rd generation Echo Dots for $60.00.

I wish my personal funding were a bit more up to snuff as they had some nice sales on new laptops, and my old Lenovo is now 5 years old, and honestly, wasn’t laptop enough for the software I want to run on it. The worst part, to get the performance I can get out of a $500.00 desktop build, I would have to spend at least $1,500.00 on a laptop.

I ended up getting the Show 5, used some Amazon rewards points to bring it down to a very manageable $32something

Sylvania Smart+ zigbee RGBW bulb is on lightning deal for $14. Really good price.

No need for another hub?

no, just SmartThings. I have 4 of them working well with SmartThings.

Would be nice if these Sylvania bulbs worked with Hue hub/app (or hue bulbs had more features like living scenes on ST hub). Tempted to try them out for that price but I have too many things I have been “trying out” lately…

ZHA vs ZLL. ZLL devices can fall back to ZHA, but the ZHA devices won’t work with a ZLL network like the Hue bridge.

Not an Amazon Deal but possibly inspired by it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/samsung-smartthings-motion-sensor/907x5hlgkt9x/b91h?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
