Quite different from most of the problems, where the devices show online in the AWA, but give no response, etc. Be it Zibee or Zwave.
I also belong to those people who have not changed anything, before the big bang.

I remember we received a separate mail before. But maybe…
@Itati Any updates - it’s been 10+ days since I could turn the lights on in my house. I understand that the new firmware starts rolling out today (not that it’s a guarantee you get it today), but has there been any official statement that it will for sure fix the issue? Have the engineers had any success? Would love some sort of status update, just to understand time frames or what caused the issue, since many had made no changes to their system when it started. If we know the firmware fixes the issue, is there any way the people having the issues could be prioritized so our homes start to function again?
@Itati We made significant investments to control things like water sensors and shutoff valves to work exactly in the current cold climate conditions. Not having this in working conditions is causing significant stress to us. Please let us know the current status of what the engineers are saying. For a firm of Samsung’s size and stature, this is not correct to leave the customers in extended limbo like this. It started working randomly for some people but not all. That alone requires a proper explanation.
I have the same problem in Romania, trying to keep a building intact with severe weather (low) temperatures. I cannot reach it because of the snow.
I have a v3 prepared, but still.
Pls Samsung, give an answer.
ITS WORKING (as far as I can see!!!) at least my Zwave devices (only the fibaro switches). 000.059.00009 update
I may have to wait to see my Zigbee info. And I may have to wait till the Fibaro sensors are going to give info.
That’s huge relief to know the firmware update worked for you. Keeping fingers crossed for the update to hit tonight for us here in USA.
Be careful. a lot of Zigbees are giving offline now. My Fibaro Zwave Switches are OK. From Zwave (Fibaro) sensors I did not get updates yet, but they seem still online.
It is of course possible that i have to wait till the devices start sending info.
I will do reboot via AWA now and then.
Ediyt: My Z-wave (Fibaro) sensors seem to start working also
Edit (going to bed) All zigbee are showing offline in the AWA and Zwave online.
We are continuing to follow up on this issue with the engineering team, and we’ll share updates as soon as we have more information.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
For me the switches are very important as they give me the consumption of my heatpumps. I miss the temperature info via the Zigbee sensors however.
thanks very much. I can give you my info and I already opened my account data acccess for you. Its bedtime however in Holland now.
So My fibaro Zwave switches are ok. Zigbee and Zwave sensors are not.
All of my devices came back to life at ~5:40pm EST Jan 12. No rhyme or reason as to why. Will keep an eye on it and see if it sticks.
A couple of my zigbee devices started working an hour ago, but all of the other devices went completely offline
All my Zigbee are offline, but Zwave are showing online. I do not see any firmware update yet.
Just had a change in my symptoms.
Zigbee are offline, but Zwave are showing online.
No firmware update yet.
No firmware update here yet, but I am seeing some of my devices are now responding to commands. Not all of them, and not specific to one type (zigbee, zwave, matter). Hopefully this trend continues ![]()
FIXED!!! My Zigbee devices came back at around 23:30 GMT without any change to the firmware. Still on version 000.058.00010. Needed to go through the “add device” process to get some sensors (door and motion) back and working but all appears fixed. This recent outage seems to have affected all my SONOS speakers, which went offline but came back this evening also. Some explanation from SmartThings as to what caused this would be welcome.
Seems the majority of my devices of both Zigbee and Z-wave are back online and controllable. Did a quick battery pull on one motion sensor that was still offline and it returned so may try that on some others or just wait till tomorrow.
Hey all, put your offline devices in pairing mode and try to add them again with the smartthings app. It’s working for me.
I don’t know if the fix is permanent
Is that pairing possible without being on the location? I think not but could ask the neighbour to do it maybe. So use my SmartThings app while n o t on the spot while neigbour (no ST app) on location playing with the batteries?
My zwave AC switches are back online (in the electricy outlets maybe has to do with it?)
My zigbee’s went 100% offline, also the AC switches.
My other Zwave, battery driven, show online but not working.
I got the 59 update but maybe the update is not related to the fact that my (important) Fibaro Zwave switches are fully OK now.
