I also can’t turn off the hub status light, but I have no need to. I use my hub in an outbuilding.
Thanks for letting me know. I wonder if it will be fixed in the new app version.
Thanks! Glad to know I wasn’t alone and I’ve had a ticket opened with ST support. Hopefully the increase of Firmware update date that was just posted fixes this issue…
Actually, this firmware broke it. So if you were having problems before I’m sorry to hear that, but I don’t think this one will fix it.
Also, an update to my previous post hoping SmartThings app version 1.18.17.xx might fix it, just an fyi it didn’t fix the hub status light bug.
Thanks for fixing the Hub light status based on ticket I’ve submitted and this forum helped expediting… Just noticed the light works with the Automation again… Kudos!
did you seriuosly just make it harder to scroll through rooms in the new updated UI ??? HOW CAN YOU SCREW THAT UP? Now i can only scroll through the room names at the top. my thumb isnt long enough for that.
V3 SmartThings hub and still no update
That is the app and not related to the hub firmware.
Try being a Sonos user recently to see how to seriously cripple an app and product functionality …
We are seriously spoilt by ST
All the generic smart home apps like Tuya/SmartLife, Tapo, Kasa and so on look the same. Smartthings is just following a trend called Shenzhen Style…
We need to give a strong feedback about this, this is awful. How do we do that effectively?
the update schedule runs until July 3rd (unless it gets delayed)
what app update was tha? who should get my feedback.
thank you kind Sir.
My two v2 hubs updated to FW 53.19 this afternoon. My ST Station hub updated last week.
My Aeotec has updated right few minutes ago because everything went offline for a moment. And everything went back to normal within the minute. So far so good
Edit: If the Station, Aeotec, v2 and v3 have the update, is there any Matter compatible hub without update? (the Fridge maybe?)
Actually there are.
Both my TV and Soundbar are still on 52.11. My 2 Stations are on 53.19 and my Fridge with Dongle was on 52.11 and is now on 53.20. Yes my fridge is on a higher number; I’m kind of confused about it. My fridge can’t be used in a hub group though, but it finally can be replaced where it couldn’t before. It says products using a dongle Fridges and Older TVs can’t use the hub group feature.
Sadly, my fridge keeps dropping it’s thread network and I always have a heck of a time getting it to stay running more then a few hours. In the Advanced Web Interface all my other hubs say thread was “Last Active” always within a few days to a week (latest: Jun 27th, 2024); my fridge hub says April 30th, 2024. I think the family hub’s firmware is causing syncing issues and this has been happening since Oct of last year just after the main SmartThings App went to version 1.18.xx.xx when they introduced status tiles and removed custom edge hubs (ex. BlueYeti’s Philips Hue fiasco, where they removed his excellent custom linking system). Hopefully the June Family Hub update (now July) will fix these issues.
I seem to have lost ability to control Aqara buttons.
