Quite a bit. My fridge hub is still on 56.10. My Station hubs are 57.15.
One of my 2 ST Station hubās firmware has been updated to 58.10.
Both my V3 and my Station firmware upgraded to 58.10 morning just before 4am Est. All of my Zigbee stuff, 139 devices are offline now. They go online and then go offline constantly! Even the ones that are online can not be controlled. Tried the following but still not working.
- powered off both hubs 3 different times for over a half hour. To rebuild Zigbee mesh
- powered off all mains powered devices and turned them back on.
Not sure what else to try. I guess this firmware update was not quite ready for primetime. Anybody know how I can get back to the previous firmware version?
I have never heard of anyone reverting back to a previous hub firmware version.
Thanks, now Iām stuck with none of my Zigbee stuff working. Zwave still works, but all the Zwave stuff is on the V3 hub. My Station seems like it is toast now. I really wish they would give us a way to turn off automatic firmware updates or at least test them properly before they push them out!
Only 9 Zigbee devices show offline now, however I am not able to control any of the ones that are online. I just get a message about ā A network or server error occurred. Try again laterā
Hi, @mlchelp
Please open support access to your account:
1. Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM
2. Enable support access to your account:
1. Go to the SmartThings Web (my.smartthings.com)
2. Log in to your Samsung Account
3. Select Menu (ā®) and choose Settings
4. Toggle on Account Data Access
5. Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select āUntil turned offā, once the team finishes, weāll let you know so you can disable it again.
See more information about this access here: https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us/articles/36170233944852-Enabling-Account-Data-Access-for-Support
Also, submit the hub logs of both hubs as soon as possible to see if thereās any error message that can help the engineering team investigate:
1. In the Advanced Users app, enter the āHubsā section
2. Enter the corresponding Hub and click on āDump Hub logsā
3. Confirm the process by clicking on āDump Hub logsā again in the pop-up.
- Youāll get a green box at the top confirming the Hub logs were requested.
Thank you, I have Authorized account access until turned off and dumped the logs on my station and v3 hubs
email address is the same
One question - is zigbee secure mode enabled or disabled on the hub? On mine, I have it disabled. May not have any effect on your issue though and always best to let ST investigate your issue ![]()
Zigbee secure is disbled.
Wait, my email is different, I just Pmed you the correct one.
I also did a chat with support ticket number 304223840.
I lost all my Zigbee devices on my production hub with 58.10 update being a plausible trigger event. However it appeared no different to other instances that have been occurring occasionally over the last few weeks so I canāt read too much into it. I canāt even blame my hub group, much as I would like to, as Iāve removed that.
Usually frantic reboots and power-cycling of Zigbee devices is my response before the system bursts back into like. This time, however, a reboot of the hub seems to have been particularly restorative though I thought it took an awful long time. It used to be I would barely notice the hub rebooting, now it seems to take a few minutes.
Hi, @mlchelp
Thank you for the information, please let me know if the Customer Support team gives you an update.
Checking your Station Hub, it marked the Zigbee Radio as non-functional. The engineering team will analyze the logs further to see whatās going on. They saw you have all the Zigbee devices connected to this Hub and the Z-Wave devices connected to the V3, right?
Yes. Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Michael
Update: Everything came back online last night and worked properly. Unfortunately, this morning all the Zigbee devices started dropping offline and then coming back online. I am not able to control any of the devices, including mains-powered devices that are directly connected to the Station.
I have noticed some increased responsiveness with this update for zwave remote control of local and cloud 3rd party integrations, which is nice!
Does the Thread network unification require ALL hub connected devices to be removed or just the Thread ones?
Edit: just the Thread ones ![]()
