I have the ADT Smarthings system, and I am getting really tired of having issues with it and getting sent in circles any time I need to call for support. Has anyone been able to update the firmware on the panel to convert it to an Alarm.com panel, or buy just the panel and use all of the existing ADT Smartthings sensors?
They don’t have the same radios inside, so that won’t work. The dual logo ADT/smartthings panel uses a proprietary frequency that is not used for anything else, which is why other ADT sensors won’t work with it. 
I was really hoping that the sensors would work if I bought a regular 2GIG panel. They look just like the same Nortek sensors but I understand about the frequency part.
Same outer case, different radios inside.
