A few of my ‘things’ from Smart Things came with an adhesive to be able to mount it properly. This adhesive was so strong I was completely unable to remove it without causing damage to my walls and doors. Is there any way we can come up with a less destructive adhesive? Perhaps use the same idea as the ‘command hooks’?

I’ve been using the 3M Command strips to mount my things and it’s been working very well.

This is exactly what I was going to post. I just went out and bought a multi pack of the 3m strips. I just wish I thought of it before I peeled the paint off some of my door frames.
