ZOOZ ZSE40 4-in-1 sensor Goes Inactive

I just installed the Monoprice version of the ZOOZ ZSE40 4-in-1 sensor. After connecting to the SmartThings hub it reports values and detects motion and then goes inactive and submits no readings. I lowered the wake setting to 30 minutes, checked the batteries and placed it near the hub. Still no activity. If I delete it from the hub and add it again it will work for a short time and then go inactive. Anyone have similar issues with this device?

Couple of things to note, the ZooZ and monoprice versions are a little different, they have different settings and configurations.

  1. Make sure you’re using the right device handler for the Monoprice which can handle those settings.
  2. Have you checked the distance to the nearest z-Wave repeater, it should be no further than 30-50ft for ideal operation.
  3. Also try to reboot your hub and do a z-wave repair.

Thanks for the info. I changed the device handler to one written specifically for Monoprice and so far things are working ok.
