Zigbee thermostat coming?

Hi Tyler, I was wondering if you might be able to let us know how the certification is going with the Fidure Thermostat?

Weā€™re all set with certification! We have a bit of cleanup to do then weā€™ll get the integration out there. Aiming for mid next week.

I see that the Fidure A1-730 Zigbee Thermostat is all now a certified SmartThing. Iā€™m considering buying a Thermostat and this one caught my eye, but I have found very little customer feedback for this product. I would love to hear any positive or negative feedback from someone who owns or has used one, especially with the SmartThings V2 Hub. Many thanks in advance.

Iā€™m not buying one until they are stocked by Amazon. No reviews, unknown company, $17 shipping, customs issues to ship it back to Canada if faultyā€¦ Not worth the trouble.

For those of you who installed new cooling / heating combined systems. Were the installers helpful in telling you prior to when you made the decision on which model to get? i.e as to what wires were behind the thermostat so you could tell if it was compatible?

I donā€™t think that is a typical detail that will be listed in the first page description of a system sales proposal.

If you want 7-8 thermostat wires pulled then you should specifically write it down in the sales agreement and have it initialed. I agree that itā€™s worth doing and all the wires donā€™t have to be terminated.

I canā€™t stand those 3wire Honeywell protocol Tstats. Really limiting.

Just curious do you have this thermostat working? I have the honeywell wifi and hate it. Does it look cheap when its on the wall, the pictures online make it look like you could play pong on this thingā€¦

I just installed a CT100 that is OK, but this Fidure sounds like a better thermostat for less price. Can anyone provide some impressions? The CT100 requires Zwave connectivity to have any sort of control over it other than basic functions (doesnā€™t even have hold), but this Fidure sounds like it has some built-in capability so that it can function independently (and harmoniously) with your ST setup.

If anyone has any impressions or comparisons to the CT100, Iā€™d love to hear them.

There are two Amazon reviews currently:

Both reviews are prior to this official certification, so I imagine that bad reviewerā€™s qualms have been resolved. The other person seems to love it.

Itā€™s a startā€¦ But definitely not sufficient data. Thanks!

I took the jump and ordered one.

Not sure how long it will be until it arrives though, due to this notice on their website:

CDJ,

Working our way through the orders. Thanks for your patience! Shouldnā€™t be long now.

They ship with FedEx. You should have your new device by the middle of next week.

I just ordered the Fidure. I saw the 2 5 star reviews and the 2 star. Went ahead and took the plung, hope it works the way it says it will.

Thanks Alex!

I look forward to getting it next week.

These are only 1 heat 1 cool or I would get one. They say the 1 Cool 2 Heat (most heat pump systems in my area) is the 1732 model not yet available.

Just received my shipping notice, scheduled to be here tomorrow. Hope to have time to set it up tomorrow night.

Iā€™ll post back once it has arrived

I just got mine in the mail. Quality looks good. Problem is I didnā€™t do my research before I bought it. Went to install and found out I only have a 2 wire system. Unfortunately without a C wire Iā€™m out of luck.

Bummer. Iā€™ve been researching like crazy and an only confirming systems that donā€™t work. None that do for what I want. Is the c wire power ? Guessing not as you could run that from an adaptor

This is the adaptor which can be used in the absence of C wire and has the smallest form factor. Comes with 2 wires attached. I think the wires are 20 feet and may be sort of difficult to hide.

The smaller one is from lockstate and the other one is some other brand which is huge, heavy, has a LED and no wires.

@TheNookers Could you post some pics of the thermostat?
