My LY-1690 Zigbee blind motor paired successfully with a Tuya hub 3 and appears under the Zigbee devices in Smart Life. During the ‘Start Study’ calibration the motor consistently stops before reaching the fully open position. I can’t find any way extending the time the motor runs in the calibration mode so the blinds fully open.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I always recommend using a Tuya Matter Hub for my clients—options like Zemismart, MOES, or the M1, M6, and M1 Pro gateways work great.
A practical example is Tuya curtain motors: you pair the motor to the Tuya Hub first, and then bring it over to SmartThings via Matter. That way, you can easily perform the full limit calibration inside the Tuya app while running your day-to-day controls and automations directly through SmartThings.
Important detail to keep in mind: the Zigbee Mesh! Remember that the Tuya Hub and the SmartThings Hub build two separate Zigbee mesh networks. Because of this, I always analyze the network coverage before installation to prevent dead zones.
My general rule of thumb: I prioritize keeping all Tuya devices connected to the Tuya Matter Hub. I only pair a Zigbee device directly to the SmartThings Hub if it proves to be the clearly better option for that specific setup.

Um bom exemplo de uso é com motores de cortina Tuya: você pareia o motor no Hub Tuya e, via Matter, repassa o dispositivo para o SmartThings (ST). Dessa forma, você consegue fazer toda a calibração no aplicativo da Tuya e enviar os comandos do dia a dia normalmente pelo ST.
Ponto de atenção importante: a rede Mesh Zigbee! Lembrem-se de que o Hub Tuya e o SmartThings criam redes Zigbee distintas. Por conta disso, antes de qualquer instalação, eu sempre estudo o alcance da malha para evitar pontos cegos.
A regra que costumo usar: Priorizo concentrar os dispositivos Tuya no Hub Tuya Matter. Só associo um dispositivo Zigbee diretamente ao Hub do SmartThings quando isso se mostra a opção mais favorável para o projeto.
