Im hoping someone else can help me get to the bottom of this issue:
My Zen thermostat is changing setpoints seemingly at will. I have basically 2 setpoints associated with different modes. 60 degrees for “away” and “night” and 68 degrees for “home” The thermostat will randomly go to the other setpoint either at night (wake up sweatting) or during the day. Using a virtual thermostat, I have created a piston in CoRe to keep it in check (and send me a txt message). This solution removes the flexibility of changing the temperature at the thermostat, not good for the Family.
So my question is, How can I evaluate the logs to determine if the setpoint is being changed by the Zen or Smartthings.
I haven’t found a lot of people having issues out here, so i feel like it may be a problem with my particular Thermostat. The folks at Zen support gave me an unsatisfactorily vague response.
