Every once in awhile I have a problem where my Z-Wave outlet in my Master Bedroom looses connection to the Z-Wave network. There is a Z-Wave repeater 30 feet away in the next room. There is another repeater 35 feet away, so there should not be a problem. I wonder if there is a way to start a repair every night or other night when the devices are not being used, and do it without me having to start the process? The device always works when the repair is complete.

@duncan was collecting information on what zwave utilities customers would like to see. I think this is a good one.
As far as I know, there’s no way to do this now in SmartThings. But I have worked with other systems where we did automatically run a repair on schedule once a week or once a night as part of regular maintenance and it’s a nice feature to have.

We’ve considered adding that, but first we need to fix some problems with network repair that cause it to crash some people’s z-wave modules.
