I don’t know - I’ve never attempted that type of setup.
I just did a quick search of the Visonic thread for both “reed” (as in reed switch) and “dry” and didn’t get any hits, so it appears reed switches/dry contacts weren’t discussed.
A mod similar to the ones proposed in the Visonic mod thread I posted might be able to be used to hook up a dry switch, but as I noted, I’m not familiar with those types of setups.
I guess I’ve been lucky with my humidity sensors. This one is in my lab. I have several around the house and all have been rock solid for almost a year.

I use 2 or 3 Zigbee/Zwave repeaters on each floor. (Iris smart plugs) Not sure if that’s what is keeping them locked in.
I have 4 Square and 4 Round Temp Sensors willing to get rid of. If you are interested let me know.
