X-Sense (xsense) XC04-WX Smart Carbon Monoxide Alarm Integration with SmartThings

Has anyone been able to integrate the X-Sense XC04-WX Smart Carbon Monoxide Alarm into SmartThings?

I haven’t found any Edge Drivers and X-Sense is not shown as an available Brand when adding a Device, nor am I able to link X-Sense as a Service :frowning:

Since we now have the Heiman CO sensor on Matter/Thread, and it just works, there’s little point in pursuing support these kinds of proprietary devices. Your money is a vote for standards compliance.

That said, you don’t strictly need the device listed if it’s Zigbee, Z-Wave or Thread. Put it into pairing mode, and run “scan nearby devices” in SmartThings. It should be discovered, and if it’s compatible enough a generic driver will run it.

Thanks @Peter-M I’ll check that out.

Ahhh… I left that part out of my original post. Unfortunately, the X-Sense XC04-WX is a Wi-Fi Device. X-Sense has its own App you can use without a Hub when running using their Wi-Fi Devices, but I’m not seeing any way to integrate into SmartThings.
