What to expect (and some rumors)…


The following was an informal poll at 9 to 5 Mac, so we should assume almost all Apple device users. But I still thought it was interesting.

The question was what feature would a Siri speaker have to have in order for you to consider using it

If they indeed release a Siri based speaker, there will be more expectation and anticipation to integrate smartthings with HomeKit.


Maybe, but since they do have integration with both Google Home and Amazon Alexa, not as much pressure as otherwise. HomeKit’s not a market leader at this time. And right now, there’s no way SmartThings can meet the HomeKit security requirements, The design philosophies are just in conflict. But we’ll see what happens in the future. :sunglasses:
