Without a keypad... how do children disarm ST?

Smart Alarm which can be found in the SmartApps store, under Safety & Security has the feature of Entry/exit delays,

by @geko the SmartThings author “Please note that this app is provided here as is and is no longer supported. Smart Alarm users are advised to switch to Smart Home Monitor (SHM), the native home security application developed and supported by SmartThings.” I got this from his github.

So I am assuming based on the current posting by ST that this is one of those apps that is being pulled out of the Marketplace.

[OBSOLETE] Smart Alarm Updates

When Smart Home Monitor (SHM) was introduced over a year ago, it looked like SmartThings have made home security application a centerpiece of their smart home offering. SHM certainly stands out in the mobile app, has a nice user interface and advanced features like security camera integration, event history, etc. Unfortunately, more than a year later, SHM still misses quite a few things that are essential to any home security system, for example exit and entry delays. From what I read on the Forums, many people are still using Smart Alarm for their security needs. Therefore, I’m considering reviving Smart Alarm and making some improvements in the coming weeks and months. Please let me know if you have any suggestions how Smart Alarm can be improved.

Agreed. This user is looking for recos for smartthings. Not terse opinions on smartthings as an alarm system. I would like a keypad as well for the same use case.

I have an iris zwave garage door controller that works great with smartthings. I also have a zwave front door lock that comes with a keypad on it. My family is now asking if I can add a keypad to the garage door. I love the way that I can use smartthings to manage multiple codes for the front door. Is there some kind of zwave keypad that I could use for the garage door with smartthings in a similar fashion to the front door lock?

Also, if the issue is just something simple for kids to use, the new SmartThings/ADT security panel system offers a key fob device for disarming. Note that this device can only be used with that specific model, not with the original hub. But if you haven’t bought your hub yet, and you are primarily interested in security, you should definitely look at the ADT/SmartThings things model.
