Hi!

I created a simple device type handler that polls NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center, and indicates the values in a tile.

Hello! I have created a devicetype with some additional capability I would like to submit for review to SmartThings. The device polls NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center akin to the SmartWeather Tile. NOAA classifies our space weather on a numeric scale of 0-5 across three categories. I believe each category should have its own capability. Each capability has unique properties that may offer unique opportunities for smart homes aware of impending solar weather. This device type might be useful for notifying you to shutdown sensitive electronics, or perhaps open skylights in order to observe the aurora. Please enjoy!

Hi All,

Thank you very much for all of you who contributed and forked the project. You will ultimately be the ones to carry it forward on SmartThings. Unfortunately, after much deliberation I have decided to pull the project from ST at this time.
